Basketball: Liberty District Adjusts Postseason Schedule

(Feb. 11, 2010) - There are changes to the previously announced AAA Liberty District boys and girls basketball tournaments. The tournaments will now start on Feb. 18 with semifinals on Feb. 19 and the finals on Feb. 22.

Liberty District first round on Feb. 18 at high seeds. Stone Bridge will host a doubleheader with the girls at 5:45 p.m. and boys at 7:30 p.m. Seniors from all teams will be honored.

Semifinals for boys will be at South Lakes at Feb. 19 and for the girls at Madison with game times at 5:45 and 7:30. The finals will be a South Lakes on Feb. 22 with the girls at 5:45 and boys at 7:30.

The Northern Region tournament also is moved, starting now on Feb. 24 with higher seeds hosting first round games. The quarterfinals would be Feb. 25 hosted by higher seeds. The semifinals are scheduled for Feb. 27 at Robinson and finals on March 1 also at Robinson.
