Video: Boys Soccer - Loudoun County 3, Tuscarora 3 (OT) by Josh Holton

(March 12, 2013) - How exciting is our spring coverage going to be with video highlights like this posted by Viva Loudoun video intern Josh Holton! Of course, it helps to have a cracking opener with Loudoun County rallying from two down at the half to send preseason favorite Tuscarora into overtime and then the Raiders took the lead in OT only to have the Huskies rally with less than two to play for the 3-3 tie!

Viva Loudoun: Meet Our New Video Interns! Briar Woods SR Tyler Bailey and

(March 11, 2013) - Viva Loudoun would like to introduce its Spring 2013 video interns, Briar Woods High School senior Tyler Bailey and Heritage High School senior Josh Holton. Both talented students also attend C.S. Monroe Technology Center and together are the creative force behind OTB Productions.

They will be covering spring sports for Viva Loudoun and producing cutting edge videos. Here is a little more about both of them:

Tyler Bailey, Briar Woods, SR
Hi, my name is Tyler Bailey. I am a senior at Briar Woods High School as well as C.S. Monroe Technology Center. I created OTB Productions six years ago as a 6th grader, and have continued to pursue the name today. I started with digital camera filming paintball with only a vision in my head to create this name bigger than ever. OTB Productions started by only filming paintball videos, but now Josh Holton and I have expanded our vision of art in the industry to many other sports. I am very excited to start the process of OTB Productions voyage into the 2013 spring season.

Josh Holton, Heritage, SR
Hey, my name is Josh Holton. I am a senior at Heritage High School and also a second year student studying film and television production at C.S. Monroe Technology Center. I'm a three season varsity athlete as well, including cross country, swimming, and soccer. I have been working with OTB Productions for a little under two years, as well as freelance video production for the past three years. As a current member of the Heritage varsity soccer team, I have a particular interest and look forward to covering the upcoming Dulles District soccer season.

Boys Basketball: Potomac Falls Knocks Off Loudoun Valley to Throw Dulles District Race Into Final Week Tie

Potomac Falls SO Wanya Allen and FR Michael Janowski
combined for 27 points Wednesday i Panthers big win.

By Dan "Set Shot" Sousa
Viva Loudoun Editor

Sterling (Feb. 6, 2013) - Tenacious defense and balanced scoring attack led the Potomac Falls High School boys basketball team past Loudoun Valley Wednesday night, 58-52, to throw the Dulles District regular-season race into a tie with just one game remaining.

If Loudoun Valley (15-2 in district, 19-2 overall) and Potomac Falls (15-2, 18-3) both win Friday then they would both be co-champions and they would face each other Saturday, Feb. 9 in a one game playoff at Tuscarora High School for the district's top seed. Valley faces Tuscarora Friday and Potomac Falls plays Park View.

Potomac Falls jumped to a 5-0 lead in the contest and basically led wire to wire -- trailing 10-8 for a few seconds in the first quarter before sophomore Wayna Allen buried a 3-pointer to put the Panthers back on top.
