News: Loudoun County School Board Extends Special Permission Request Window

(July 8, 2013) - On June 11th, the Loudoun County School Board revised policy §8-20 extending the special permission request window through September 15. Parents/guardians wishing to submit a request may do so using the online request system at: http://www.lcps.org/Page/76705

Parents/guardians should make note of the following:

• Special permission requests will not be accepted after September 15.
• Decision letters from the Department of Pupil Services will be issued within 30 days of the date the request was submitted.

The following schools do not have sufficient capacity for special permission requests for the 2013-14 school year:

High Schools

Briar Woods
Broad Run

Dominion

Loudoun County

Potomac Falls

Stone Bridge

Tuscarora

Middle Schools

Belmont Ridge

Farmwell Station

J. Michael Lunsford

River Bend

            Stone Hill  

Elementary school special permission requests will be reviewed on a grade-by-grade basis for space availability.
