Gymnastics: Stone Bridge's Severin 6th on Bars, Valley's Huebner 6th on Floor at VHSL State Meet

(Feb. 21, 2010) - Loudoun Valley High School's Amanda Huebner finished sixth on the floor and Stone Bridge's Tori Severin was tied for sixth on the bars Saturday at the VHSL state meet.

Huebner scored 9.475 on the floor and Severin scored 9.575 on the bars.

In the All-Around, Broad Run's Drea Ewen was 10th with a 36.450.

Herndon's Maria Hayden won the All-Around in the meet held at Osbourn Park High School in Manassas with a 39.000 including wins on the beam (9.925) and floor (9.700). Salem's Maebelle Pacheco won the vault with a 9.900 and her teammate, Jenine Hutt, won on the beam with a 9.750.

Other top 15 finishes for Loudoun included Valley's Shae Spotts on the vault (9.475), BR's Ewen on the bars (9.400) and PF's Allie Daczkowski on the floor (9.375).
