(Feb. 19, 2010) - The Dulles District boys basketball tournament features semifinal action tonight at Freedom High School with the surprising host Eagles, just 5-15 on the season, taking on Broad Run (18-2) at 8 p.m. preceded by Potomac Falls (16-2) vs. Briar Woods (9-9) at 6 p.m.
Can't make the game: It will be broadcast free online by the Raider Sports Network at www.lchsabc.org. Note: VivaLoudoun editor Dan Sousa is doing the color commentary but please do not hold that against the Raiders booster club!
Freedom advanced with a 65-62 upset over No. 3 seed Park View on Wednesday. Broad Run took care of Dominion, 66-48, to advance and Briar Woods beat Loudoun County, 72-52, for the school's first ever playoff win in boys hoops with sophomore Myles Tate scoring 29 points.
