Sterling (Feb. 24, 2010) - Potomac Falls High School senior girls soccer player Amanda Rumsey has signed a NCAA Division I Letter of Intent to play with Boston University.
A defender, Rumsey has spent her entire high school career with the Panthers’ varsity squad, during which time she has earned all-district honors, 2nd team All-Region honors, All-State honorable Mention and All-Met honorable mention. She plays club soccer with the Loudoun ’91 Red team.
This fall she won’t be the only Loudoun County alum suiting up for the Terriers -- she will be joining ex-Briar Wood Falcon Brea Hewitt on the soccer squad.
