Please enough of basketball and gymnastics! It is still not too late to report on local wrestlings. It has been a great season but has lack media focus.
ReplyDeleteNo. 1 reason wrestling has lacked media focus this season has been poor information flow from most teams. Freedom High School was the only team out of 10 that sent information on a weekly basis. VivaLoudoun has been publishing a Top 3 Dulles District ranking by weight class with no feedback from the wrestling community, which was suprising! Valley hosted a super duals but sent no advance info. to us. As per this last week ... there wasn't any wrestling to really report between the exams and snow. We requested results from Heritage Duals but got nothing sent. A father has sent us a photo from Monday's Freedom vs. Broad Dual but neither team sent results. The media can only report on what they are given. Hopefully next year the area wrestling teams sent out more to us because we love covering it!
