(Feb. 23, 2012) - Stone Bridge High School freshman made splash at her first Virginia High School League AAA state meet with a second place finish in the 200 free and a fourth in the 100 free.

Mack swam a 1:52.45 in the 200 free finals to finish runner-up to senior Audrey Kula of Osbourn Park who touched in 1:52.31. In the 100 free Mack turned in a 52.38 in a race won by another freshman, Sofia Revilak of Battlefield in 51.44.
Broad Run senior Jacob Leidy finished 8th in the 100 fly with a 52.43. He turned in a season-best for Loudoun of 51.67 in the prelims. The race was won by Thomas Jefferson freshman Andrew Seliskar in 49.64.

Leidy also helped the Spartan 200 free relay team to a seventh place finish with Leidy, Michael Kopecky, Jack Morrisroe and Alan Horback clocking at 1:29.66. Frank W. Cox High School won the race in a state record time of 1:24.85.
Oakton won the girls team title with 183 points with a close battle for second between Osbourn Park (166) and West Potomac (162). Cox won the boys title with 246 points with Oakton runner-up with 168 and TJ third at 146.
