Gymnastics: Stone Bridge Takes 5th in Northern Region; McCabe Qualifies for States on Floor

(Feb. 13, 2012) - Stone Bridge High School was denied a return trip to the VHSL state AAA meet after taking fifth over the weekend at the Northern Region meet. The Bulldogs scored 135.042 points with Washington-Lee winning the meet at 145.191 and McLean runner-up with 144.851.

Madison's Evelyn Nee took the All Around with a 38.683.

Stone Bridge's Kelly McCabe qualified individually on the floor, tying for 6th with a 9.35. The state meet will be held at Salem High School on Feb. 18. Results:
