Swim: 2012 VHSL A/AA State Meet Time Line and Psych Sheet

(Feb. 9, 2012) - Loudoun's top swimmers will hit the pool at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center for the 2012 VHSL A/AA Swimming and Diving Championships.

Heritage's Kaleigh Rosenburg is seeded first in the 200 IM as well as the 100 breast. Tuscarora's Amanda Presgraves is the No. 2 seed behind Rosenburg in the 100 breast.

State Meet Timeline for Fri. and Sat.:

Timeline for Friday: Swimming Prelims
6:40 AM: Building opens for athletes and coaches and must enter through main entrance. Teams will checkin and receive coaches’ packet and deck passes. Please remember that only athletes entered in the meet and coaches will be allowed on deck.
7:00 AM- Warm ups begin (see warm up schedule for team assignments). Positive check in for the 500 free will open.
8:00 AM- Spectators allowed in the building. Remember spectators are not allowed on deck.
8:30 AM- Officials Meeting will be in the classroom located near the rec pool.
8:45 AM- Timers Meeting- will be located on deck near the rec pool
9:15 AM- Positive Check in for the 500 free closes, warm ups end & Coaches meeting will be under the slide in the rec pool area.
9:25 AM- National Anthem- Open for performer or will use recorded version
9:30 AM- Swimming Prelims Competition begins

9:30 AM- Spectators allowed in the building. Remember spectators are not allowed on deck.
10:00 AM- Officials Meeting will be in the classroom located near the rec pool.
10:15 AM- Timers Meeting- will be located on deck near the rec pool
10:45 AM- Warm ups end & coaches meeting under slide in rec pool area
10:55 AM- National Anthem performed by Christiansburg High school’s Ensemble Choir
11:00 AM- Swimming Finals (top 16) Competition begins (please note the award schedule below).
