Dulles District Tournament - Semifinals
No. 3 Potomac Falls 64, No. 2 Briar Woods 61
The Skinny: Briar Woods held by Panther defense without a field goal in second quarter fell behind by 21 and then staged a furious 4th quarter comeback with 26 points fueled by six 3-pointers that just fell short in an entertaining contest in Ashburn (more later from Dan "Buzzer Beater" Sousa). BW senior Myles Tate led all scorers with 26 while Potomac Falls' Greg Graves and Wanya Allen combined for 30. PF depth was a key with Panthers getting six or more points from six players.

No. 1 Loudoun Valley 57, No. 4 Woodgrove 35
The Skinny: Vikes take Round 3 of Purcellville rivalry as Valley holds Woodgrove to a season-low 35. John Yoxthimer (14), Paul Rowley (11), Cameron Kiani (10), Jovon Miller (9) and Josh Grimard (8) led a balanced Vikes attack.

No. 1 Woodgrove 50, No. 4 Tuscarora 35
The Skinny: Now that the Wolverines took care of upset-minded Huskies they can focus on a third meeting with Loudoun County in 8 days! Brooke Basinger (13), Stephanie Purnell (13) and Sarah Hardison (12) led Woodgrove.

No. 2 Loudoun County 57, No. 3 Heritage 37
The Skinny: Katrina Kirby scored a game-high 24 points as the Raiders earned a third shot at the Wolverines after falling to them last Friday on the final day of the regular season and then on Saturday in a one-game playoff to decided this tournament's top seed. County's front line had a total 42 in this win with Maggie Phillips (10) and Casey Cummings (8) too much for the Pride. Heritage was led by Breana Smart with 16 and Kayla Tibbs scored 10.
