Boys Soccer: Freedom SR McQuitty Signs to Play at George Washington

South Riding (Feb. 8, 2012) - Freedom High School senior midfielder Philip McQuitty signed his national letter of intent Tuesday to play soccer for the George Washington University Colonials.

McQuitty will soon start his 4th year as a member of the boys varsity team at Freedom and will play a large role in the midfield for the Eagles this spring. On top of his important role on the soccer team, he has been an active student during his time at Freedom participating in the National, Math, and Spanish honor societies and being a member of the SCA.

Through all of this he has maintained a 4.3 GPA and earning the prestigious True Eagle Award for his excellent academic achievement at Freedom.
