Swim: Stone Bridge's Andi Mack Takes 1st in 200 Free, 2nd in 100 at Liberty District Meet

(Jan. 31, 2012) - Stone Bridge High School freshman swim sensation Andi Mack turned in a 1:54.58 to win the Liberty District meet 200 free over the weekend and she finished second in the 100 free with a 52.73. Both times are tops this year for Loudoun swimmers.

The Langley girls won the meet with 407 points followed by McLean (328) and Madison (310). Stone Bridge, without a diving team, finished last with 134. On the boys side, Madison took the title with 490 followed by Thomas Jefferson (373.5) and Marshall (302). Stone Bridge was last with 83 points. Read more on the overall meet here.

Another Stone Bridge freshman, Lindsay Jachimowski was sixth in the 500 free and ninth in the 100 back. Junior Anne Richards was 16th in the 200 IM. Senior Apple Pollock was 15th in the 50 free.

On the boys side for Stone Bridge, sophomore Danny Marron was 12th in the 200 IM and 13th in the 100 breast. Senior Austin Wilson was 14th in the 50 free. Freshman Michael Kost was 14th in the 500 free.
