Wrestling: Tuscarora Making Strides in District Losses to Briar Woods, Woodgrove

(Jan. 12, 2012) - Tuscarora High School varsity wrestling coach Andrew Bango is seeing improvement in his squad as they wrestle their second season since the school opened. On Wednesday the Huskies fell 48-30 to Briar Woods and 54-37 to Woodgrove.

"This is the second year open for both Tuscarora and Woodgrove and both schools are making great gains," said Bango.

Tuscarora had several wrestlers go 2-0 on the night: Alex McCord, Saxon Downs, Alejandro Avelar, Dionte Fitts, and Ryan Fleming.
