News: Vote for VivaLoudoun's High School Sports Team of 2011

(Jan. 11, 2011) - Loudoun schools brought home five state titles in 2011 and we asking VivaLoudoun fans to pick one of those teams as our Team of the Year.

Three of the five schools are from Briar Woods including the Falcons football, competitive cheer and softball squads. Broad Run girls soccer won the vote in 2010 and the Spartans are back in the running after a fourth straight AA state title. Briar Woods cheer, which won a third straight state title, won the vote in 2009.

Both the Potomac Falls boys basketball and Briar Woods football programs added back-to-back state titles. The Briar Woods softball team captures it first ever state crown.
