News: Golf Tournament to Benefit Loudoun County Community Holiday Coalition's Neighbors Helping Neighbors Program

(June 20, 2011) - Help for Others, a local nonprofit organization, is sponsoring a golf tournament at the River Creek Club to benefit the Loudoun County Community Holiday Coalition'€™s €"Neighbors Helping Neighborsâ€" program. The tournament will be held on Monday, July 11, 2011, with a shot-gun start at 8:30 a.m. The club is located in the River Creek Community at 43800 Olympic Boulevard, Leesburg.

Everyone is welcome to play the course or become an event sponsor. Sponsorships are $100 each and the cost per player is $99.00. Players may sign up as a team of four, but the tournament is open to all and will match singles and doubles with others to make up a team.

The Community Holiday Coalition, which consists of various local nonprofit
organizations and agencies of the Loudoun County Government, is beginning its sixteenth year of brightening up the holidays for families in Loudoun County. Over the years the coalition has brought together hundreds of volunteers who have helped thousands of families have a happier holiday season. The proceeds from the tournament will be used to purchase items such as new clothing for teens and seniors, to be distributed during the holiday season.
