Boys Lacrosse: Freedom's Matthew Johnson and Broad Run's Michael Mabry to Play in Champion All-American Showcase at Disney

(June 20, 2011) - Freedom High School graduate Matthew Johnson and Broad Run High School graduate Michael Mabry have been selected to represent the South Region in the 2011 Champion All-American Showcase boys lacrosse tournament.

This traditional US Lacrosse event, the Champion All-American Showcase, returns to the ESPN RISE Games this summer and will feature the nation’s elite high school players representing all corners of the United States. Players are nominated and selected by high school coaches throughout the country to compete in a four-team format over three days at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The Girls' All-American Showcase will be held July 17-19 and the Boys' All-American Showcase will held July 20-22.
