Volleyball: Thursday Night Scoreboard

(Oct. 28, 2011) - The regular season wrapped up Thursday in exciting fashion as Freedom swept Stonewall Jackson and took the AAA Cedar Run District title and clinched a Northwest Region bid after Battlefield upended Broad Run in five sets. In the AAA Liberty District Stone Bridge competed an undefeated district run with a sweep over Langley as the Bulldogs clinched a Northern Region bid. And in the AA Dulles District, Loudoun County completed a 16-0 district schedule schedule with a sweep over Woodgrove as the Raiders have clinched another trip to the Region II tournament.

District tournament play starts next week for all three districts.
