News: VivaLoudoun Signs on as a Founding Sponsor for Team Joe Charity

(Sept. 3, 2010) - VivaLoudoun has signed on as a Team Joe Founder for the local charity golf event that has raised $75,000 the past three years with all proceeds benefiting the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Fairfax Hospital for Children.

VivaLoudoun was one of three businesses to pledge $5,000 to the charity this week. Bill Thomas of Keller Williams Realty and the Fairfax Neonatal Associates -- the team that took care of the charity's namesake, Joe Petrella, who spent 104 days in the NICU at Fairfax Hospital -- also joined as Team Joe Founders.

Previous Team Joe Founders include United bank, Cheers Sports, Loudoun Valley Floors, and Dr. Chad Parsons.

It has been a busy time for the Team Joe event with many sponsors joining at various levels including BB&T Wealth Management and the Katelyn Hall Foundation as Ace Sponsors ($1,000 of support); and Loudoun Girls Little League Softall and Spanky's Shenanigans Pub as Eagle sponsors ($500). They join other Eagle sponsors such as Virginia Commerce Bank and Dr. Donald Hope.

And new Birdie sponsors ($300) include Castlerock Pilates, Westpark Golf Club, Dulles Little League, Superior Pest Management, Pest Management Services and Seneca Auto Body. They join Tim Sugrue.

And new Friends of Joe sponsors ($100) include: Kelly and Sassy Pyle; Tom Curcio; and Robert and Naomi Krishock. They join Granny Pat; Maureen and Brian Schwarting; Tracie Scott; Pat Nevin; Dr. Jeffrey Barth; and Dwayne Houtz.
