News: Team Joe Golf Tournament Set for Friday, Cornhole Tournament Saturday

(Sept. 29, 2010) - Team Joe Charities will hold its annual golf tournament on Friday at Westpark Golf Club in Leesburg and on Saturday there will be a cornhole tournament at Spanky's Shenanigans Pub in Leesburg. VivaLoudouin is a proud Founding sponsor of Team Joe Charities.

Check-in starts at 9am. Free practice balls will be at the range, putting green will be open, and breakfast will be available. Mulligans and raffle tickets can be purchased during check-in.

Spectators
Come out and enjoy the day with us. Cheer on your friends, enjoy some live music, eat some great food, and maybe even enjoy a beverage or two. Shenanigans will donate a portion of all food and drinks sold during the event to Team Joe. We hope to see you there! We ask that you donate $5 for a Team Joe wristband to show your support.

About Us
Team Joe Charities was formed in 2007 to raise money for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children. The NICU is a level 3 care facility, which is the most advanced of its kind in Northern Virginia. The unit has over 60 beds and is one of the largest in the nation, and admits high-risk infants from all over our region. Joe Petrella was born 12 weeks early, weighing only 1.5 pounds. He spent 104 days in the NICU, and without their wonderful care he would not be here with us today!

For anyone interested in donating to our charity, please keep in mind that EVERY dollar donated to Team Joe goes directly to the NICU. We have no administrative costs, and all costs incurred hosting our golf tournament and other fundraisers are paid for by Denny, Gen, and Joe Petrella. Team Joe Charities is a 501(c)(3) organization, so not only does every dollar you donate go directly to the NICU, but every dollar is tax deductable.
