Golf: Loudoun Valley Takes Tri-Meet with Woodgrove and Dominion

(Aug. 12, 2010) - Loudoun Valley High School continued its good start with a win in a tri-meet Thursday over Woodgrove and Dominion at Stoneleigh Golf Club.

Loudoun Valley won the 18-hole match with a score of 323 followed by host Woodgrove with 353 and Dominion with 359. Low medalist for the match was Valley’s Scott Davidson who carded a 75 over the par 72 course. Also for the Vikings, freshman Ian Hildebrand had 80, senior Matt Kaseman had 83 and sophomore Scott Mumpower had 85.

Leading score for Woodgrove was posted by Aaron Price with 81 followed by Eric Kardos and D.J. Hughes with 88’s and Nick Kovach with 96.

Dominion’s Rich Boudreau had 80 followed by Sam Allen’s 89, Sam Stillwell’s 92, and Brandan Ohara’s 98.

This is the 4th competition for the Vikings this year and their overall record now stands at 25-6 against all opponents.
