Leesburg (Aug. 10, 2010) - Loudoun County High School announced the hiring Tuesday of Derek Fisher as the new head girl's basketball coach. Fisher replaces Kevin Reed who stepped down after eight successful seasons including a AA state title in 2009 to take over the Sherando program.
Fisher served as the head girls basketball coach at Lake Braddock High School from 1999 to 2007, posting an 89-93 overall record and capturing a AAA Northern Region title in 2003.
"We look forward to coach Fisher joining the Raider Family and continued success of the girl's basketball program," said Loudoun County Athletic Director Ken Wright in a release.
