LCPS College Fair Draws a Crowd

More than 1,000 students stood in line before each of the two sessions of the Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) College Fair held on Sunday, September 27th, at Stone Bridge High School.



Approximately 7,400 students and their families spoke first-hand to college admissions representatives in preparation for the college application process that often begins in the freshman year of high school.


More than 200 colleges, universities and representatives from the military provided timely tips to students preparing for their post-high school education. Most of the colleges traveled from nearby mid-Atlantic states, but institutions from as far away as Hawaii made the trip to meet with Loudoun County students.


The LCPS College Fair is sponsored by the LCPS Guidance Department and students should schedule a time to meet with their guidance counselors to discuss questions concerning college admission and applications for financial assistance. College and Career Planning Offices are available in all 10 LCPS high schools.
