Purcellville (Oct. 29, 2009) - Battlefield High School captured the 2009 Cedar Run District title Wednesday with a deduction-free performance that earned 243.5 points.
Heritage finished runner-up at 222 and host Loudoun Valley was third with 215.5. Osbourn was fourth in the 4-team meet at 179.5. All teams advance to the Northwest Region which will be held next week at Freedom High School in Prince William.
