Loudoun Valley Wins Cedar Run Title, 12th Straight

Loudoun County used tough serving and aggressive hitting to sweep the Titans of Dominion 3-0 (25-7, 25-5, 25-16) on Thursday night in Leesburg, Virginia. The Raiders balanced attack was led by: Molly Baldwin (8 kills, 5 blocks), Juliane Hanna (6 kills, 11 points, 3 aces, 3 digs), Emily Vandegrift (6 kills, 1 block), Allie Cain (4 kills, 1 block), Jenna Strange (4 kills), Rachel Arigo (2 kills, 3 points), Robin Marsala (15 assists, 19 points, 4 aces, 4 digs), Colleen Bowlds (8 assists, 5 points, 5 digs), Kathleen Horvath (11 points, 3 aces, 4 digs), Gabby Serafin (5 points, 4 digs, 2 aces), Hannah Arnold (4 digs, 3 points).

The Raider improved to 16-2 (9-1) on the season with the victory. The JV team (15-2) and Freshmen team (14-0) also swept victories 2-0 over the Titans. Loudoun County returns to action next Tuesday to celebrate Senior Night against the Panthers of Potomac Falls.
