Last week's You Pick'Em featured a first-time winner in Loudoun Times-Mirror sports editor Carl Lukat and a win by our "Superfan" Walt McCowat ... though he may not have wanted to win!
First, Lukat ... Mr. Loudoun Sports Media as we like to call him ... he picked Loudoun County, 21-13, over Briar Woods and the final was 23-3. Half of the pickers went with BW and the half that didn't had the Falcons scoring at least 14 points! Congrats Carl!
Now onto Mr. McCowat ... one of the good guys in the local high school scene ... and a big, big Dominion booster. McCowat, however, picked them as he saw them ... Titan falling to Broad Run 36-6 and that was close to the 34-9 final. Sorry, Walt ... take cover in Sterling the next few days! It is McCowat's 4th win all-time!
Can you out-pick our usual assortment of coaches, superfans, and local media ... we encourage students to play as well as winning won't ruin your chance for the Olympics. This week's two games:
