(Nov. 15, 2012) - The Briar Woods High School Falcon Regiment Marching Band placed first in every category at the US Bands West Virginia Regional Competition earlier this fall in Charlestown, W.Va.
The Falcon Regiment took first place in the categories of Best Music, Best Marching/Visual, Best Color Guard, Best Drumline and Best Overall Effect. This was a great showing for their first week of competition.
Building on the success of the first competition, the Falcon Regiment had their best performance of the “Star Trek” show in the US Bands Virginia Regional last month in Winchester.
The Falcon Regiment was awarded Best in Class and again swept all award categories.
