Football: Freedom Coach Mick Mullins Steps Down After 4 Seasons

(Nov. 19, 2012) - Freedom (South Riding) head football coach, Mick Mullins, announced to his team today that he will not be returning to coach the team in 2013.

Freedom athletic department said in a release that "Mullins served the Freedom football with great passion, energy, and commitment for the 2009-2012 seasons. He also taught Freedom athletes to serve our community, most notably working as integral participants in the Champions Football League for special needs students."


His career record at Freedom of 10-30 earned him the school record for career Freedom coaching wins.

The head varsity job will be posted promptly with Loudoun County Public Schools Department for Personnel Services.
