News: APEX Gymnastics Finalizes Plans for Expansion -- Additional 12,000 Sq. Feet to Open in Late November

Leesburg (Oct. 13, 2010) - APEX Gymnastics announced this week that construction will start soon on a 12,000 square foot expansion to the facility.

"We will be adding a complete gym dedicated to teams with an additional 42 X 42 spring floor, mutiple sets of bars, balance beams, a second 40 foot long trampoline, air track, parallel bars, pommel horses and an additional vault station," said APEX Gymnastics co-owner Melanie Cuozzo.

The new gym section will include additional bathrooms for girls and boys and seperate lockers for each team gymnast. In addition, APEX is gaining an additional entrance and a second party room and dance area.

"We have plans to include a pro-shop as well," said Cuozzo. "This additional area will allow for our recreational gymnasts to have an entire gym to themselves without having to share any equipment!"
Construction is expected to begin in the next few weeks with a late November occupancy. At completion, the APEX facility will be just under 30,000 square feet. Look for up-to-date photos at www.apexgymn.com.
