Tennis: Three Dulles Teams Advance to Region II Semifinals

(May 26, 2010) - It was a good day for area tennis as three Dulles District teams held serve in the Region II quarterfinals with wins to advance to Thursday's quarterfinals. Both the Broad Run and Freedom boys won as did the Loudoun County girls.

All the teams appear to be on the road Thursday with Broad Run at undefeated power Western Albemarle and Freedom at Sherando. The Loudoun County girls travel to Fauquier.

The Fauquier boys were undefeated before Facing Freedom but the Eagles took care of the match in singles:

6. Christian Lanzaro (Freedom) def. Jon Simpson (FHS) 7-5, 6-1
