College Signings: Heritage's Case to Play Soccer at VMI; Potomac Falls' Fauteux to Run Track at Bridgewater

(May 14, 2010) - The VivaLoudoun.com college choice chart has grown to 132 athletes with Heritage's Peyton Case and Potomac Falls' Nicole Fauteux the latest standouts to make their college choices for next year.

Case will play soccer at VMI and Fauteux, who had a huge day Thursday to help the Panthers capture the Dulles District girls track and field title, will run track at Bridgewater. Fauteux swept both hurdles races Thursday and ran an electrifying leg on the winning 4x400 relay.

    Bridgewater is in the aptly named Bridgewater VA, a small town with a population just over 5,000 .. but to give you a better idea, Bridgewater is in the Shenandoah Valley not far from Harrisonburg. Founded in 1880, Bridgewater was the first coed college in Virginia. The Liberal Arts school is affiliated with the Church of the Brethren and has a student population of apx. 1,500. And now you know!
