Wrestling: Freedom Continues Strong Opening with 78-6 District Win Over Dominion

(Dec. 9, 2009) - The Freedom High School wrestling team turned in another strong performance on Tuesday, defeating AA Dulles District opponent Dominion, 78-6.

Freshmen Levi Hamm started a 5-match run for the Eagles with a first period pin at 103 pounds, and after Dominion's Nolan Kirkwood gutted out a come-from-behind victory at 135 for the Titans, it was all Freedom who finished the night with eight consecutive pins.
