(Oct. 9, 2012) - A Veteran's Day 5K race is planned for Bolen Park in Leesburg, Loudoun's newest regional park. Runners will travel throughout the park around sports fields, over bridges and through wooded trails at the Sunday Nov. 11 event.
The unique, cross country style course is USATF-certified, with 90 percent on grassy surfaces and 10 percent on paved paths and foot bridges.
Register at www.loudoun.gov/webtrac with an activity number 175709-01 or at www.prraces.com. The first 300 registrants will receive a commemorative t-shirt.
