Football: Woodgrove OL Dan Charmo Picks Up First NCAA D1 Offer from Saint Francis University

Woodgrove's Dan Charmo (No. 56) paves the way for another Josh Sweet TD

Purcellville (Oct. 16, 2012) - Woodgrove High School senior offensive lineman Dan Charmo has picked up his first NCAA Division I offer with Saint Francis University interested in the 6-foot-3, 260-pound bulldozing blocker.


Charmo and his teammates have paved the way for Wolverine running back Josh Sweet to pick up 1,144 yards and 16 touchdowns on 157 carries. Woodgrove at 5-2 overall and 3-2 in the Dulles District is in position for the third-year school's first postseason appearance.

Charmo has a bench press of 350 pounds and a squad of 435 pounds and has been clocked at 5.3 in the 40. See video highlights here.
