News: Katelyn Hall Foundation and Green Mountain Horticulture Sign On as Team Joe Founders

(Sept. 27, 2011) - The Katelyn Hall Foundation and Green Mountain Horticulture have signed on to become Team Joe Charities Founder sponsors. The Team Joe charity was formed in 2007 to raise funds for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children.

The Katelyn Hall Foundation has been a faithful sponsor of Team Joe since our inception. This year they have bumped up their annual sponsorship from an Ace Sponsor to a Team Joe Founder. ABOUT TEAM JOE

Team Joe Charities was formed in 2007 to raise funds for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children. The namesake of our charity, Joe Petrella, was born 12 weeks early and weighed only 1.5 pounds. He spent 104 days in the NICU where the wonderful, caring staff helped save Joe's life. He's now a healthy, happy, normal 4 year old!

All money raised by Team Joe Charities will help fund the completion of a family lounge that will be part of the new NICU being built by Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children. Please help us raise money for this outstanding facility and the amazing staff that helps care for many of the high risk births throughout Northern Virginia.
