Football: Wet Conditions Postpone JV, Freshman Games

(Sept. 6, 2011) - The wet field conditions across Loudoun are postponing junior varsity and freshman football games across the county.

Here is the latest news from the high schools:
*The Briar Woods vs. Park View JV/Freshman Football games have been CANCELLED today due to VERY wet field conditions and been rescheduled for Thursday, September 8 here at Park View High School,
Freshman 5:45 and JV 7:15
*Today's Dominion football games at Heritage HS have been moved due to the rain. The games will now be played at TUSCARORA High School on Wed., Sept. 7. Freshman kick off at 6:30 and the JV to follow at appx. 7:45 PM.
*Tonight's Loudoun County games vs. Loudoun Valley has been postponed to Wednesday 9/7 and moved to WOODGROVE HS on the turf. This game should be able to go no matter what now that we have it on the turf. Game times are adjusted to 6pm for freshmen and 7:30pm for JV.
*The Stone Bridge FRESH/JV Football Scrimmage schedule for today, Tuedsay 9/6/11 has been canceled due to inclement weather & poor field conditions. Make-up date/time TBA.

The Potomac Falls games at Woodgrove and Brentsville games at Tuscarora, both on turf, are on as scheduled.

Golf Reschedules
*Briar Woods vs. Loudoun County moved to Sept. 15
*Tuscarora vs. Woodgrove is TBA
