Wrestling: More on Freedom's Win over PF Plus Updated Rankings!

(Jan. 15. 2010) - The Freedom High School wrestling team made history on Wednesday as they defeated the defending Dulles District Champions Potomac Falls 56-18.

The win marks the first time in the young program's history that they have beaten Potomac Falls, which has dominated Dulles District wrestling for the past eight years. Since the inception of the Dulles District Potomac Falls has won six out of the eight Dulles District Championships held in wrestling, losing only twice to Dominion High School.

Wednesday night however, belonged to the Eagles. With two of Potomac Falls top wrestlers out with injuries the Eagles ran out to a 41-3 lead and never looked back.
