News: Get Your Classic Games Fix on Verizon's FiOS1 Local Sports Zone

(Jan. 29, 2010) - Are you already missing your high school football? Want to relive the Loudoun County girls basketball state title run of last season? Verizon FiOS1 is putting up some "classic games" in its On Demand section starting Monday.

FiOS subscribers can head to "Browse All" section of their television's Video on Demand and then choose "Free" and then "FiOS1 Sports" and then "Northern Virginia". And then "Classic Games". (You can also find the Classic Games folder by going through the "FiOS1 Local Zone" and then "Northern Virginia")

What you can find under "Classic Games" starting Feb. 1:

*The Mar. 7 Loudoun County vs. Courtland AA Division 4 state quarterfinal from last year.
*The 2008 Stone Bridge vs. Edison Northern Region Division 5 final and the 2007 Stone Bridge vs. Edison Northern Region Division 5 final plus the Sept. 7, 2007 Robinson vs. Stone Bridge regular season game.

Plus you can check out the recent FiOS1 coverage of Loudoun basketball (FiOS1 Local Zone/Sports/Northern VA/Basketball) where you can find the Potomac Falls vs. Dominion boys; Briar Woods vs. Park View boys; Stone Bridge vs. McLean boys; and soon the Freedom vs. Loudoun County girls.
