Swim: Loudoun County Senior Sophie Newton to Swim at Rutgers University

Leesburg (May 14, 2012) - The Loudoun County High School athletic department announced last week that senior Sophie Newton signed her National Letter of Intent to continue her swimming career for Rutgers University.

Raider athletic director Ken Wright: "Sophie is the most decorated swimmer in the history of the swim program at LCHS, holding six individual school records and also being a participant on all three school record holding relay teams. Sophie epitomizes what a high school swimmer should strive to be and we are all very proud to have had her be a part of the Raider Swim program. Congrats to Sophie and her parents."
