News: Weather Forces Cedar Run District Changes

(May 15, 2012) - Freedom High School announced a multitude of changes to this week's athletic schedule as wet playing conditions have pushed the Cedar Run District tournament back in baseball, softball and soccer.

The Cedar Run schedule now appears to be quarterfinals on Wednesday, semifinals on Friday May 18 and then finals on Monday May 21 at Patriot High School.

Tuesday, May 15

Boys Tennis--Northwest Region Quarterfinals vs. Colonial Forge 2pm **Annex and Freedom early release at 1:15 p.m.Track and Field--Cedar Run District 3200 M race @ Patriot HS, 12 noon (3 athletes only) **Early release at 10:15am**

Softball @ Battlefield--Cedar Run District Quarterfinals 6pm postponed to 5/16

Wednesday, May 16
Track and Field--Cedar Run District Championship @ Freedom 12 noon **Annex and Freedom early release at 10:45am**
Boys Tennis vs. Broad Run or Riverbend (if we win Tuesday) --Northwest Region Semifinals 2pm  **Early Release at 12:45pm **
Softball @ Battlefield--Cedar Run District Quarterfinals 6pm
Baseball vs. Broad Run or Stonewall Jackson--Cedar Run District Semifinals 6pm postponed to 5/18
Girls Soccer vs. Patiot or Osbourn 6pm postponed to 5/18
