Titles is Their Four-te
The Raiders will host Lafayette(19-5), a loser to undefeated Grafton (26-0) in the Region I finals, Tuesday in a AA state quarterfinal. Western Albemarle, with just two losses now on the season, both to the Raiders, must travel to unbeaten Grafton.
The semifinals and finals are at VCU in Richmond on Friday at 4:00 PM and Saturday at 12:30 PM.
Loudoun County was led against Western Albemarle by:

The Raiders senior class has now amassed an incredible 106-7 record in four years at the school including a state runner-up in 2006 and back-to-back state titles in 2007 and 2008.

2006: 23-3 record (Dulles District regular season co-champions, Dulles District Tournament champions, Region II champions, AA state runner-up)
2007: 28-0 record (Dulles District regular season and tournament champions, Region II champions, AA state champions)
2008: 28-1 (Dulles District regular season co-champions, Dulles District Tournament champions, Region II champions, AA state champions)
2009: 23-3 (Dulles District regular season co-champions, Dulles District Tournament runner-up, Region II champions)
So who are those lucky seven teams to actually beat a LC volleyball team over the past four years? Loudoun Valley, Heritage and Cave Spring in 2007; Heritge in 2008; and Flint Hill and Broad Run twice in 2009.
