Volleyball: Loudoun County and Loudoun Valley Play for State Titles Today

Richmond (Nov. 20, 2009)- Loudoun County survived a scare by coming back to win a 5-set thriller over Roanoke area powerhouse Cave Spring (23-25, 25-18, 28-30, 25-23, 15-10). The Raiders improve to 25-3, and move on to the AA State Final for the fourth consecutive year hoping to bring home their third straight title. If successful, Loudoun County would be the first AA school to win 3 consecutive titles. Loudoun County will face undefeated Grafton HS who defeated EC Glass in the other semifinal 3-0. The final is a rematch of the 2007 final which Loudoun County won 3-2.
