Purcellville (May 18, 2011) - Loudoun Valley High School senior Ashley Haislip only started playing volleyball four seasons ago but the Viking outside hitter will continue her career in college as she has committed to play at NCAA Division III Oglethorpe University in Atlanta.
Oglethorpe plays in the Southern Collegiate Atlantic Conference.
"I will be playing Opposite Hitter (Right-Side). I'm really excited," said Haislip. "It's a great school academically and the coaching staff is fantastic."
The 6-foot-2 Haislip play two years of varsity for the Vikes and was a member of the 2009 team that captured the AAA state title.
