Loudoun County Def. Park View

The Raiders used aggressive serving and a fast paced offense to get ahead early and cruise to a 3-0 (25-11, 25-8, 25-8) sweep of the Patriots in Sterling last night.  Each of the 12 players contributed to the victory including: Emily Vandegrift (10 kills, 2 points), Molly Baldwin (5 kills, 4 blocks), Erin Dancy (5 kills, 4 points), Jenna Strange (4 kills), Sammy Dormio (3 kills, 3 aces, 3 digs, 9 points), Allie Cain (2 kills, 2 points, 1 block), Juliane Hanna (2 kills, 6 digs, 1 block, 1 assist), Robin Marsala (15 assists, 8 points), Colleen Bowlds (6 assists, 3 points), Kathleen Horvath (4 assists, 4 digs, 12 points, 2 aces), Hannah Arnold (4 digs, 5 aces, 7 points), Gabby Serafin (4 digs, 7 points).

The Raiders improved their overall record to 8-1 (3-0 in district). The LC JV team also defeated Park View 2-0 to improve their record to 9-1.  Loudoun County returns to action next Tuesday as they travel back to Sterling to take on the Titans of Dominion.
