Girls Lacrosse: Woodgrove's Ashlyn Dacey to Play at D3 Mary Washington

(March 22, 2012) - Woodgrove High School senior Ashlyn Dacey will play lacrosse next year at NCAA Division III Mary Washington University in Fredericksburg.

Mary Washington is currently ranked No. 17 in the nation and the Eagles roster includes sophomore defender Priscilla Smith of Briar Woods High School. Mary Washington was 13-8 a year ago.

Dacey was a first team All-Dulles District attack last year as she helped the Wolverines capture the district regular-season and tournament championships in their first year of play. Woodgrove fell to Western Albemarle, 14-11, in the Region II title game but still advanced to the VHSL state tournament.
