James Madison recruit Angela Mickens scored a game-high 19 points and nearly had a triple-double (14 rebounds, 8 assists) while controlling the flow of the contest.
Woodgrove (25-5), a second-year program with no seniors on the roster while Lee suited eight seniors, got in foul trouble early and Lee had a huge advantage at the foul line, shooting 39 free throws to Woodgrove's 17. The Wolverines had trouble against Lee's defense, turning the ball over 22 times.
Lee (22-6) led 14-7 after the first quarter and nudged that lead to 28-18 at the half. Lee then blew the game wide open with a 12-0 to start the third quarter.
Jamila Thomas added 16 points for Lee and Kemani Crawford finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds as both benefited from the dribble penetration and precise passing of the 5-foot-7 Mickens.
Lee, headed for the state finals for the third time in four years, will face Liberty Saturday at 11 a.m. in the title game.
