News: Volunteer Loudoun Seeking Nominations for 2011 Outstanding Volunteer Awards

(Feb. 1, 2011) - Volunteer Loudoun is seeking nominations for the 2011 Volunteer Loudoun Outstanding Volunteer Awards. This annual program honors citizens and organizations throughout Loudoun County who donate time and service to their community. Volunteer Loudoun invites you to nominate outstanding individuals who volunteer for your organization or any individual who provided exceptional community service in 2010.


Nomination forms are available in the Volunteer Loudoun office on the 4th floor of the Loudoun County Government Center, 1 Harrison Street, S.E., Leesburg. Online nominations may be submitted through www.loudoun.gov/volunteerawards. All nominations must be received by March 1, 2011, in order to be considered.

Those eligible for nomination include individuals or groups whose volunteer services have directly benefited the Loudoun County community. Nominations may be submitted for a single individual or a team of volunteers to be honored. This is your chance to give recognition to someone you value as an outstanding citizen of Loudoun County.
