Girls Soccer: Lynchburg College Gets a 2-for-1 Alexis Special as Briar Woods Alexis Gonzales and Alexis Jensen to Both Play for Hornets

Ashburn (Nov. 1, 2011) - The Lynchburg College women's soccer program is getting not one Alexis from Briar Woods High School but two Alexis' as both Alexis Gonzales and Alexis Jensen will play next year for the NCAA Division III program.

Lynchburg College is 17-2-1 currently and ranked nationally. The Hornets defeated Emory and Henry College 8-0 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament quarterfinal round and will host the winner of the Washington and Lee University and Bridgewater College game Wednesday in the semifinals.

Gonzales and Jensen will join two other Loudoun products on the roster, sophomore Aldie native Grace Withers, who played at the Wakefield School, and freshman Christy Byle from Loudoun County High School.
