Wrestling: Manassas Park 3-0 at Loudoun Valley Quad

(Dec. 23, 2010) - The Manassas Park High School wrestling team went 3-0 Wednesday night at a quad hosted by Loudoun Valley featuring also Woodgrove and Martinsburg WV.

Martinsburg was 2-1 while Valley went 1-2 and Woodgrove 0-3.

Football: Broad Run's Scrimmage with Martinsburg Shifted to Tuscarora's Turf Field

Leesburg (Aug. 19, 2010) - Loudoun's two newest high schools haven't even opened their doors yet but their state-of-the-art synthetic turf fields are already paying dividends as Broad Run High School has moved tonight's football scrimmage with Martinsburg, WV to Tuscarora High School due to wet fields in Ashburn. Game time for the two-time defending Division 4 state champion Spartans is 6 p.m.

Football: Stone Bridge Homecoming Game Moved to Monday Leaving Park View the Only Game in Town!

The Stone Bridge High School Homecoming football game against James Madison tonight has been postponed until Monday at 7 p.m. That leaves Park View High School's non-district contest against Martinsburg, W.V. as the only game in town. That game has been moved up to a 6:30 p.m. start to avoid the heavier rain.

"Our field is in surprisingly excellent condition and the footing is very good," said Patriot head coach Andy Hill in am email. "We have moved the game up an hour to try to beat the forecasted rainfall due to set in later tonight. Looks like we are the only game in town, so come on out!"

Stone Bridge notes: The Homecoming Queen ceremony is TBA at this time. The Powder puff game scheduled for Monday at 6:30 will be moved to Wednesday Oct 21 at 6:30 pm
