News: Driver Charged with DUI Almost Runs Over Loudoun Sheriff's Deputy

(May 10, 2013) - A Loudoun County Sheriff's deputy was assisting a driver of a disabled vehicle just after 11 p.m. last night when they spotted a vehicle travelling without its headlights on Davenport Drive. The deputy tried to motion for the vehicle to pull over but instead it accelerated and the deputy had to jump out of the way to avoid being struck.

The vehicle continued on Route 7 and made several turns before stopping in a parking lot at Route 7 and CountrySide Blvd. The driver, Jeremy F. Good, 40, of Sterling was charged with assault and battery on law enforcement, felony eluding, DUI, and driving without a license.
